Well at least we know what the motive is of the YT poster now....for you to go to their website and buy some gold & silver. image

    That was an excellent video.
  • The problem is they will just keep raising the margin rates if the prices keep going higher. So I'm afraid we'll never see the big jumps in silver.

Why the hell is it in CARTOON?
It's a compelling dialogue, but the cartoon characters take all the credibility out of the story in my opinion.

On 60 minutes last night, Bernake basically said that he can stop an out of control train in "15 minutes". So I have to agree with you...slow and steady would be alot better than these 1 day 3-5% jumps.

  • And as much as I'd like to see the days of $500 silver, it will never happen. Most we can hope for is $50, but even at that it will be tough to beat the house. They'll just stack the deck against people like us.

If I'm not mistaken, the silver margin requirements were raised many times during the 1970's bull market. Sinclair recently mentioned what they peaked at. It was some unbelievable number like $25,000 or $40,000 per contract. We're only at $7,500 today. They might eventually succeed in making the Comex a paper only market but then bullion silver would be priced off market and be unavailable for purchase.
