I have been a Cowboys fan all my life through the good and bad. Meredith was a very good and tough quarterback but a better person. He with certainly be missed by many.

  • I don't remember him from his playing days but liked him a lot on "Monday Night Football", he and Howard
Cosell made a great team along with Frank Gifford.

Funniest line I ever heard on MNF was I believe during the 1972 season when the camera focused on someone in
the stands who looked like they were sleeping during a boring game, the guy woke up and gave the camera
what could politely be described as an obscene hand gesture, Cosell went crazy over that but Don just calmly said
"Ah Howard that just means we are number one" Classic.

I usually never watch or listen to the halftime show...today was an exception. Cool tribute to Meredith by the network. Glad they brought Frank Gifford on air for this.

Very cool -- brought me great memories of watching MNF with my dad.
