If you've ever wanted to own a '52 low grade Mantle this might be your opportunity...

If you don't care about the back of course....

1952 Topps Mickey Mantle Beckett Authentic

I think this would be a great opportunity at a fair price if someone were in the market for something in this price range...it sure beats the ones that are unrecognizable.

Yea...while the front looks good, the back is non-existent. Not quite sure if I prefer that over a regular 1 with an intact back....

    <<< Back received damage >>>

There is no "back" - LOL

No way i'd want that card for that kind of money.

Is there a back but still attached to something? Possibly just cut around the sides?

Could be much worse i've seen some torn up and barely recognizable go to more $, 707 even has some 1's or A's going for twice that price.

Looks like the whole back was skinning, I sure wouldnt pay 1/2 that for that "card". Its now only 1/2 a card.

Probably could have glued on any 52 topps back and Beckett wouldn't have noticed. LOL

  • To me it looks like a proof card, more than a PSA 1.

Kind of like comparing a PSA 7 oc or 8 oc, that's 80-20 or 90/10 with a well centered PSA 3 or 4. Or a miscut with a 3 or 4. To me they are two different cards.

Interesting, Could you elaborate on both points?
Proof card and comparison to OC/miscuts..
