Black light

I saw where someone posted a link to an Ebay auction for a black light.

I am interested in picking up a light to help check for marker on cards.

Can someone please point me to the post that had that link. Or please post a new link.

Thanks

Shawn
After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

You can get a 10" florescent black light in the pet section at most department stores for pretty cheap, will last forever and great for checking the carpet for accidents which may have been missed.
  • An ordinary black light won't reveal the DNA on PSA/DNA authenticated items, correct?
  • I'm going to buy this one.... there are a ton of online coupon codes for petfooddirect, and I also donate a percentage of my purchase to my favorite guinea pig rescue by using iGive.com

  • LOL, well I've raised over $27 to be donated over the last 30 days (and over $300 total during the past 8 years) just by buying crap online! If you itemize your deductions, you can count this. Donate to Critter Connection in Durham, CT!

Seriously, that's not money you've donated is it? That's money THEY kick in from the total proceeds, right? Or do you ADD a donation to the amount you pay for the item?

LIKE BKING SAID: If YOU paid an extra $27.00 over and above the selling price, then you are correct. If the $27.00 is being paid out of the proceeds the SELLER gets from the sale, then you are incorrect. ALSO, is a $27.00 deduction really going to matter if you itemize?

  • My price is the same. The merchant donates a specified percentage out of their end. On ebay purchases, they donate 20% of the final value fee paid to them by the seller.

Technically, you could have a check sent to you for the earned amount instead of donating it to a charity, so I guess it's money that I had an opportunity to recoup from my purchases, but didn't. Still, I did not add extra funds to the purchase price of anything I bought.

Don't knock tax deductions! I don't itemize, but if I did, I'd never let an opportunity to keep a single penny away from those ba$tard$ slip away.

I bet some of the Red Sox Nation would disagree with this.

I would say it is safe to assume some RS Nationers have wiped using a Posada, Pettitte, Jeter, Rivera card in the past...
