Since our kids were born my wife has annually purchased each of them a Christmas ornament themed around something that is important to them that year. We've got everything from Buzz and Woody to Superman to Jeff Gordon and a Denver Bronco on our tree.
My 12 year-old has been actively collecting with me this year and I'd like to get him a coin-related ornament this year...what do you have for me? PM or reply with some options.

A handy person can take most any coin, and a hobby store glue gun and make a tree ornament. Many collectors shudder at the thought of glue on a coin. If a person doesn't want to damage the coin, put the coin in an airtite holder then use the glue gun to glue the loop on. U. S. Mint capsules are ok too, though the plastic holder is going to be damaged from the heat of the hot glue.
A low cost and attractive set of five ornaments might be the five national park quarters for this year. Quarters are big enough to see, yet light enough in weight to be hung on a tree.
