Heard the news on tonights 6 o'clock news.

Since I grew up in Detroit, I never got to see him play,
but, it would seem he was a "TEAM" player.

    As a Cubs fan, I never saw him play and was not that much of a fan of his announcing, but what a human being!!

    What he did for charity, diabetes research, and fans made him a great human being.

    What he endured in joy and suffering with the Cubs made him the biggest Cubs fan of all.

    When his career was ending, he played for the White Sox. He thought he was not worth the money in his last year so he offered to return the money.
