    Wow!

Now the flippers can order one or two thousand to graze through for those 10 PR70DCAMs and then return the other 990 or 1,990.

I smell mileage going up on those credit cards as well!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

PR70 DCAMs should be the rule and not the exception. Wasn't the 2009 UHR pretty top heavy on the 70s?

It sure was! PR70DCAM was the Rule for the URH since gold is so danged soft and more PR70DCAM's were graded than all the other grades combined.

There's a good chance that you'll get someone elses rejected defective coin. The mint practices recycling of less than perfect returned coins.

I don't know about that. Didn't the mint blackball some customers that were doing that, one of which complained about it here and promptly got ripped a new one?

You are correct. The mint caught on to those that were abusing their return privilges.

The two that I ordered came in the other day. I opened the box and checked out the coins, they honestly look pretty nice to me. I was expecting spots etc. but overall really nice mirrors and frosting, great strike. I think I'll keep 'em!

For the premium over spot that they charge they should all be better than the ones I have seen posted on this forum.

Mine came today and they are SUPERB.
I like 'em just fine in their 'factory' plastic.

Apparently the 2010 silver proof eagle mintage will be 1 million coins, making it the third highest mintage.

Did they lift the return limit?

Is there a link to this... I apologize if I missed it.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a 70 for about $150 to $190 than to buy 2000 coins to find one and return the rest?

    And 750,000 will be returned.

I got my 2 yesterday. Definitely not 70's, questionable if they would grade 69.

There are issues on both coins that you can see with the naked eye. I had the
    same experience with the UHR.

I wasn't going to slab mine, but I think I'll send them back and buy a graded one.

That's what I did. There's some good PCGS 70's out there right now.
  • pitbosspitboss Posts: 8,643 ✭✭✭

So does anyone have any idea of how many of these coins they minted?

I returned one of the two I ordered, and the replacement looked great. Nice coins.
