Rip Cert # 31388080

Got this in today for the NFL All Decade Set of the 60s I am working on
Seller sent in a pwe. Crushed it and the case. Not a candidate for resub since now there is a large crease down the middle. In the seller's defense they refunded my money as soon as I contacted them with a problem.

Happy Thursday.

<< <i>"In the sellers's defense???" Refund or not, there's no excuse for shipping a graded item PWE. He should be required to turn all his valuable cards over to the nearest board member. >>
My first thoughts exactly. I can be a hothead though, and I try not to let my anger get to me.
PWE?? Nevermind, it just hit me..
His most recent feedback says "Prompt shipment, well-packaged, and accurately described. Thanks!" and that was for a card worth less than yours.
Maybe he ran out of bubble mailers and decided to roll the dice with the money you paid in shipping.
WTB: 2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity: Ryan Jensen #/25
As a side note, Jimmy B could really stroke it back in the day.
Sorry about the card though, some sellers are beyond stupid.
Those Philadelphia cards are some of my favorites. Hope you find a replacement soon!

People crying neg him is exactly why Ebay is messed up... buyers can neg you even when you fix any mistake...
I'd either leave him a positive saying "seller shipped PWE, but refunded damaged card" or no feedback at all and let bygones be bygones... You really can't expect better resolution than you got at this point.
<< <i>I agree with reljac, he took care of problem. With feedback being so important to sellers, I assume even a neutral reflects poorly. >>
As do I. He charged 2.85 for shipping. He paid .61. I am probably not going to leave feedback at all. He said that this was not a normal practice and someone made a mistake. I am going to believe him and let it go.

You're being too nice. I don't like the fact that he said "someone made a mistake", as if someone else that works for him is at fault. Its his ebay listing and its 100% his fault. Also, refunding your money 100% is a good start but doesn't make up for the time you've invested (now wasted) in the transaction. There is NO excuse for what happened and the guy deserves either a neutral or negative feedback. As a collector, it is really hard for me to see something like this happen to a vintage card. Sad...
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.
