ebay bin/best offer question.

Hi there,

I am wondering what you would offer on a card in this case. I am looking to buy a card with a $50 buy it now with best offer. Last night there was an auction of a 2 card lot that went for $42. The 2 card lot consisted of the same card, same grade as I am looking to buy. I was thinking of offering $25. Does this seem like a fair offer?

Just offer what you want to pay, regardless of past sales. If you want to pay $25, offer $25 and they will either accept, decline or counter-offer.

Sorry Johnny...I can only do that with vintage cards....your particular card is too new to try and look up the history on.

if he wants $50 I don't think he'd take $25 - maybe offer $35 if you really want it and then prepare to meet in the middle if the guy is really looking to sell the card.

Good luck - hopefully you'll get it for much less than $50.
