***newp toned Walker w/fatty slab

SeattleSlammerSeattleSlammer Posts: 9,959 ✭✭✭✭✭
...picked this up from Shane/aka kryptonitecomics on The Bay...a coin that may never be worth a lot of $ (at least not in this lifetime), but it still sure has a lot going for it IMHO.

A perfect example of eye catching type on a budget. image

These are Shane's great pics:

Not a bad looking coin, but then I'm kinda partial to a Walker with a little character to it. This one falls into that category. image

I like Walkers with this type of toning. A really nice example for the grade. Is the luster subdued? Otherwise, the grade seems a bit strict.

    In any event, enjoy it!

It does appear to be a bit subdued in the pics. I don't have it in-hand yet. Subdued is fine with me given the other positives.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, that's a nice WLH, and a fatty to boot.
I'm also into anything in an ol fatty. No trying to hijack your post.
This one is a bit earlier, with the gold inscription.
    Nice piece Slammer!

The coin doesn't have booming luster on the obverse though it's pretty good on the reverse but the color is where it is at. There are probably 100 dipped out blast white examples for every one coin you find with this natural toning. I know the color won't be for everyone but it certainly sets this coin apart from the other widgets and yes I am partial to the ngc fatties even more so then the PCGS rattlers image
