I've seen a number that were worse, and most of them were dimes. I viewed the subject coin in hand and liked it, BUT for the head being so flat, so decided not to bid on it.
Ahwash makes note that 1891's are most always found flat headed. This one is more so, but a very nice piece. It seems to have some different characteristics for an Ahwash-4, or a Fortin 104, in that it has a die crack from the (O) F to the A and I don't see the rev. die cracks that are supposed to be there. ?

But it is pretty darn flat!
I knew it would happen.
