OT: Anybody know anything about fire service collectibles/books?

I went to our local Salvation Army store yesterday to drop some stuff off, and more importantly look for books. (I did find "Forty Eight Minutes: A Night In The Life of the NBA" by Bob Ryan and Terry Pluto...first edition, too!)

Anyway, I found the two books pictured below. I work in the fire industry, so I bought them (for 50 cents each) because I thought they'd make a neat display piece (perhaps) at our facility.

Well, I did a little digging and it looks like they might have some value.

Does anyone have any clue about how to find a realistic value for these, either as fire collectibles or as books? I see some stuff on Amazon, Abebooks and eBay, but I don't know if that's just wishful thinking by sellers. What's the best way to move them?

Handling Hose and Ladders by NFPA
I feel a little better about the price on this one. $15 - $60 without the dust jacket on Abebooks and/or Amazon.
