Thoughts on the Blowout Cards Black Friday Sale?

I tracked the Blowout Cards Black Friday sale this morning. Overall I was disappointed in the specials.....nothing that really wow'd me. I did buy some 2009 SPX football for about $25/each less than usual. I was going to buy some 2008 SPX football, but decided to save my money for something else, maybe at BBCE.
I was reading the comments from other buyers and most everyone was disappointed as well. Some wondered if Blowout got in trouble from Topps and Upper Deck for discounting new product because the sales were heavily tilted towards 2-3 year old products. If you are one the few collectors left of Reggie Bush, Vince Young, or Matt Lienart, this was your day.
