It doesn't look short....just think their holder is too big......apparently they can't make custom gaskets like SGC......
  • Looks like a beautiful card. I would just wonder why the consignor would choose ISA.

Maybe he thought an ISA 8 was better than a PSA 6.5 (which is what I am guessing the card used to be....)
  • Agreed.

  • Now the question is does it sell for anymore than say a PSa 6 would?

If this card was in a PSA 7 holder and someone posted a picture of it would you have responded this same way?

Interesting that Steve Hart is listed on their website as giving them a nice recommendation.

good point....it does look suspect in an oversized gasket, though.

i would be interested in knowing the T/B measurement.

After reading the testimonials on the ISA website, the numerous grammatical errors doesn't help create a perception of professionalism, in my opinion. I would hire a proofreader ASAP.

Seeing as how the ISA Jim Brown rookie 8 is only around $500 with buyers premium, and the PSA Jim Brown rookie 8 is around $2,000 with buyers premium, it appears they aren't currently held in high esteem throughout the marketplace......

Nice left hand border there ISA!!! I am guessing PSA would have graded this an 8 (MC)??? What are we gonna see next? Pro and Gem cards in the current big boy auction catalogs??

    <<<<< Pasted from ISA website:

    EX-MT 6:
    Excellent-Mint.
An ISA 6 could show signs of more serious surface wear than an ISA 7 such as a detectable scratch. You may see rounding corners on an ISA 6. Out-of-focus pictures, absence of original gloss, and off-white card borders are characteristic of ISA 6’s. Centering must be at least 80/20 on the front and 90/10 on the reverse. >>>>>

Sure seems to me like their grading standards for centering have already gone out the window. LOL
