  • Very nice card, though looks like a tiny ding showing on the bottom left corner in the back photo.

Honestly, it currently IS an 8.5. Could it be a 9 is the question. I don't have a ton of experience in the crack/resub game.

    I don't know. I'd probably leave it
One thing I've wondered is how PSA treats vintage that has faded borders
Most 9s I've seen have borders that are brighter white than yours,
and I'm unsure how much that affects the grade

    BTW really nice card

I've wondered the same thing. Many times. Thx for your input.

I'd leave as is. I would not crack it out to find out.

I think 8.5 is right on.. I think a crack out would yield an 8 more likely then a 9..
but a very nice looking card

What a BEAUTY! However, I don't think you would get the "9". In the first pic (front of card) the top left corner looks just a bit weak for a "9". I would not crack and resub ... maybe a review???

Why crack? Sub for a bump a couple times.

i wouldn't crack it out. There is always the chance it could get a lower grade or EOT. I would just send it in for review and see what happens.

I would not crack that out because of the one corner ding(lower left on the back scan picture). Also it appears that the '9''s have a certain "crispness" to them....this one appears to have too much toning in the borders to get the '9'. I personally would not crack it out.

Super-duper sharp card. However, I don't think a 9 is possible. The top left corner does not come to a razor sharp point.

    Shane

  • I definitely would Not try a crack out & re sub might come back an 8, I think looking at the front of the card the top right and bottom right corners show a little fraying/wear. you might try a review , but I think 8.5 is about as good as it is going to get.
Very sweet nice centered card i would give it an 8.73. jmho
  • No chance at a 9. 8.5 is the best it will get. two corners look soft. If centering was any different it would not get an 8.5 would be an 8.

    Beautiful card.

    8.5 is the max.
