    Mike,

What a special experience to share with your daughter. If GW does a book signing in Wichita, I would LOVE to attend. Congrats.

    Mike,

Awesome story. That will be a moment that you or your daughter will ever forget. Glad it went well. Also glad you didn't get tackled when you reached into your pocket. image

On a side note, I'm glad Chaz fessed up. I was going to say something.

Great story. I agree, never miss a chance to meet a president.

One great thing about living in Iowa is the access we get to former/current presidents what seems like about 18 months prior to the caucus.

I had a neighbor move in about 14 months before the 2008 Iowa caucus. He was operating the Obama office my town. Shortly after he moved in he invited me to a house not far from mine to have pie and coffee with Obama. I declined as I had previous obligations and Edwards and Hillary were the front runners at the time. Needless to say I wish I would have went.

Sorry but I can't help with his tour dates. I find out when he's down here because of a local autograph board called the Texas Autograph Club. You might search for a similar site for the Chicago area. The Texas site is great for posting about local autograph events.

Mike that is awesome. I hope you are keeping the ballot and at least 2 of the books for you and your daughter. You both have the wonderful memory and the autographs are the icing on the cake. Have a great holiday.

Nice story. Despite my opinion his Presidency, I would think he is a pretty cool guy in person. I mean he used to party, rock out, loafed around in school, had career issues, and loves sports. Unlike most other Presidents, he has a somewhat "normal" background.
