Photobucket

I know that some of you use this program for your auctions. I know that I do. Well, I went to upload some pictures for my auctions and noticed that the site has changed. Is it just me, or is the site now very slow and not user friendly AT ALL?

I have spent the better part of the last hour trying to get HTML for about 10 pictures (a process that normally takes 10 minutes tops) and deleting about a dozen pictures with ZERO success.

Very frustrated and had to vent.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

Many months ago I started having trouble with that site and could not use it at all! I switched over to TINYPIC.COM and it works real well.

  • I noticed that the site had changed from a format standpoint but I use it daily and have had no issues.

  • I used to use tinypic, but transitioned over to the bucket. I don't seem to have many problems, what they did is now when you scroll over the picture it gives you the links and you click and it automatically copies them. The problem with tinypic is that you can't go back and retrieve it if you lose the link, also you have to upload 1 by 1, and enter the code (atleast I do)

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I use a site called Image Event for hosting my pictures. It's cheap ($24.95 a year), runs fast and NO ADS!!!

  • I was having the same problems with photobucket around the time they switched to the new format. I switched my browser to firefox and the site is working better that before. Multiple pic uploads seem to be going a lot faster.

and once again they decided to fix something that wasn't broken

  • I've seen a few PB issues threads on other sites recently as well.

For me, I've had a few issues. The box to move/delete the pic was not there. Links had a x on them so I couldn't copy/paste. Those issues all went away once I logged in/out or browsed around.

But the one recurring problem I'm having is I go to my USA album and load a pic. It says I'm loading to that folder. Once I'm done, it's not there but in my default main album.
