    Bummer Larry, I have a customer that was looking forward to buying a ton of stuff from you! image

    Jack, you'll love this! We had an impromptu poker game in the concierge lounge last night. We used the different colored sweetener packs as poker chips! The buy in was $5 with nickel/dime/quarter/half "chips." There were about 8 of us and it was a blast. I won a whopping $9 (on top of my buy in)!

    So far the show has been very active and well attended. I bought two stunningly beautiful Indian proofs - I'm hoping to give them to Glen to take to Todd to photograph for me and will post photos as soon as I can. Also bought a ton of mid-grade Lincolns from a couple of very old collections that came my way. The boxes and books smelled like they'd been in storage (very musty) for many, many years! I even bought a whole collection in a dusty, musty old Wayte Raymond album - luckily the coins were beautiful and not crusty whatsoever!

    Looking forward to another bustling day here in rain-soaked Ontario!

    Hope you NoCal guys got home safely, the rain was coming down pretty hard when I left the show!

    Overall, it was a VERY good show - that's what I kept hearing from most dealers I spoke with. The show traffic was steady, and many people were buying. On Saturday, things slowed down early afternoon, which was typical. Several forum members stopped by, including Mark/SoCalBigMark, Stef/Coinsarefun, of course Wei, and a few "lurkers."

    I this show is here to stay, and will only get better. The promoters really care about growing the Ontario show and making sure the dealers and the public are satisfied. They have even added guest speakers who give informational talks on various subjects (this year the designer of the California State Quarter gave a talk). So, I'm really looking forward to the next Ontario show (July 14-16)!!!
