    These last second bid retractions on all items are total BS!!

    The excuse is can't contact the seller. What is there to contact them about with two minutes to go??? You had many days to do so.

    With the $150,000+ bid retracting with 2 minutes to go, could this have been some shilling? The bidder that retracted had quite a few bids that drove up the auction price to where it ended.

    Yes it certainly could have been or it was someone who wanted to play along for the excitement and got caught with the potato and realized they could hand it the next guy.

    the retractor quite likely needed to recoil when he discovered he only had 147K loose in his pocket.

    everything that's wrong with this auction is essentially all the stuff we all regularly discuss here.
