LIST YOUR FAV CARD OR SET THREAD-MINE IS SUPERMAN

Hello to all! List your fav superhero card, graded or ungraded, PSA BGS GAI SGC, whatever it doesn't matter! I just wanna see those cool cards! Mine is the 1978 Superman The Movie Weston Bakeries 9 card set. Printed in Canada, I beleive it was inserted into bread products. Very poor prints, most are very off center with stains. I found some stain free, however most with off center, but high end corners edges and surface, which is pretty good for this rare and hard to find set. All my 8's have 9 or better corners edges and surface, but the center is like 7.5. Yet these are the best I've ever found, and I've looked everywhere the net can take me. In my opionon, the least known Superman/Reeve movie cards, and the toughest to find. Thanks to all who post! Enjoy!!!

My all time favorite superhero is the real Captain Marvel, introduced by Fawcett comics in 1940, and currently a member of the DC Universe. I don't think he had any trading card sets, at least, none that I'm aware of!

  • Thanks for the comment! Almost anything vintage and orginial is better then current. Captain Marvel is very cool.
  • Ok everybody, my list your fav hero went over like kryptonite! List your fav card or set here! That may be hard to do, but if you could only keep one card or set, what would it be?? Assume you could have nothing else! Mine is the above, of what I listed. Its a very tough 9 card set, and probably the least known of 1978 Superman Movie cards.
  • Mine is Buffalo Bill. Here is an N476 Mrs GB Miller's card from around 1887 - 1889.

  • Wow, that is a really great Buffalo Bill item, can it be graded or holdered authentic? Or do you choose not to do that, which of course, is just fine.
  • I like the crudely drawn cards from the 30's heres one of my favs. I am still building this set so if anyone has any for sale let me know.

  • even if it is "crudely" drawn as you say, its still neat. in fact that is what makes it unique, i thik it leaves more to the imagination. hope you find your set!
  • It should grade a 6. I'll send it in eventually. here's another favorite of mine. A N197 Kimball from around 1890. Probably the only 19th Century card with a Gladiator.

  • Wow, that gladiator is unreal! Amazing cards you have. Looks like a Raider game, those cut throat cheaters! (just teasing for all you Raider fans)
  • The N291's from 1888 are very interesting. Set of 15 featuring thePresidential candidate.

  • I guess Robert E Lee could also be considered a hero. This is a T64 Mcalpin from around 1904 and this Lee card is the only one known in the set of 49 (or 50).

  • If you are an American Indian I suppose these would fit the criteria. Set of 4 N570 Kickapoo Indians from around 1890. These are a bit larger than most cards so the lithography really stands out.

  • You have an amazing collection, that goes without saying! Have you thought about putting them on photobucket? Its free. Just click on my link of my Magic rookies, and it will take you to photobucket.
