I was walking the floor at the Hartford show looking for Vickies and Warnickels when I ran across 3 1859 vickies in a case 2 were priced $8 each and the 3rd was marked $40.00... I tried to examine it but the caked gunk around the date made it impossible,, I almost passed but asked him what he wanted for the lot, he shot 35.00 at me well the 2 for 8.00 were nice xf/au with some nice die cracks and would give me a chance to dig into Robs book again I bit .. these along with a F+ 1858 large cent marked $80.00 that was 50% off or 40.00 were my purchases for the day. Well on the way home I stopped at True Value and picked up a small tin of acetone and gave that gunked up vickie a bath and this is what I found
I'm not 100% sure but I believe it's a triple punched 9 tp-#1
I think I had a good day

If you can't swim you better stay in the boat.......
