So far as I can tell, we have:

- One Bear hoarding 90%....

- One guy hoarding Modern Bullion Keys....

- One guy hoarding miners...

- One guy hoarding AR-15's & ammo....

- One guy hoarding out'a sight gold rarities....

- Another guy hoarding technical charts.....

- One guy hoarding $$s of classic gold....

- Someone hoarding Hockey Puck orders....

- One guy hoarding lbs of Nestle's chocolate....

I thought this was interesting... first one I've seen (I doubt its the first) outside of ebay... $1 face of silver proof state quarters - Gainesville

I doubt there is any 1999's in there... or a few others...

Edited to add: Foxtail Palms in the nursery...

  • 10oz bars, ASE's, Various Gold Coins/Bars.

Oh, and my AR-15 and a few thousand rounds of ammo.

I don't hoard anything.. but name a category numismatic or metallic (or other major asset class), and I've got something that fits, or close.

diversification and asset allocation have been my buzzwords 3 decades now and have served well

Idk if I'd call it HOARDING, but I have a bunch of copper pennies and well as a several hundred rounds of bullets. So, just metals I guess. I'd call it being prepared vs hoarding. image

I have roasted my own coffee for awhile and it is light years better than the store bought stuff, not to mention how much cheaper it is. It is only logical to assume that when dollar takes it's swan song, coffee is going to become very expensive and/or scarce. Ergo, mylar bags vacuum packed with 33 pounds of green coffee beans each. I have a bunch of canned green coffee beans as well. They keep practically forever and I got them before the latest (46% or so) price rise. So when things turn rough you can come by and get a good cup of coffee for a dime, well a 90% one that is.

Things we can eat that dont cost alot of $ that will carry us thru at least 1 year...oh, and toilet paper, soap & distilled water. We believe anything beyond tomorrow is a bonus, yet we are not afraid to move on to what lies after what we can see, touch & feel.

  • Wheat Cents... Don't know why, just like'em I guess....
    Currently have around 40 bags...
Every few years someone comes along and offers on the lot,
and I sell out, then start hoarding all over again...
I buy them at 3 cents and sell them at 5c +/-
I don't even bother to search them anymore, I figure all the keys
    have already been pulled anyway..?
