Looking for some advice on collecting 1960 Topps Baseball

I am thinking about putting together a graded 1960 Topps Baseball set together. I have 197 raw cards already including the Yaz. Most of the cards I have will probably grade between PSA 5 and 8. I do not want to break the bank with this set.
I still want nice looking cards. Do I build it as PSA 5 or better? Or should I do it as a PSA 6 or better set? Any thoughts on if 6's are worth the money compared to 5's if I am not interested in being on top of the set registry. I just want to build a nice set and not cause my wife to leave me because of the money spent.
For reference I need 1 card to finish the 1986-87 Fleer Basketball set in PSA 8 or better. I really like that grade for that set. Still affordable while nice looking.
So what grade minimum should I do the 1960 set in?
Thanks
Shawn

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

breaking the bank . Once you hit 8's , you get a pretty big price jump and the wife starts getting really
upset.
