"A gold locket found by a four-year-old boy in a field using a metal detector could be worth £2.5million!
James was with his dad in Essex, south-east England, when he came across the find in May last year - and now the locket's been confirmed as treasure.
It's thought the locket is around 500 years old and may have belonged to a member of the Royal Family.
If it's sold, the money made will be split between James's family and the owner of the land where it was found. "

Take it to a hotel "We buy gold!" show and they'll tell you it's illegal to own because it's a historical artifact and they're going to confinscate it and turn it over to the police and if you leave right now they won't turn you in.
I'm out detecting this weekend so you never know...
I still cant see how that locket is worth £2.4m? I wonder who valued it. Even if it said "I belong to Henry VIII" in Latin on the side I would have thought £240,000 max. If you compare the valuation to the £1,000,000 given to the land owner and finder of the Sterling Bronze age period gold torques. I'd rather have the torques.
