Does his auction state that he ships via USPS Priority Mail? If it does then he isn't overcharging you for postage.

If you waited until after the fact to try and get him to lower his shipping fees and ship a different way than what was advertised on the auction then you are clearly in the wrong. If you give him poor DSR ratings for this than you are an a$$.

So you bid on and won an item that you knew ahead of time had $5.99 shipping.

Now you want to ding his DSR because he's charging you $5.99 shipping?

What's your Ebay ID so I can block you please?

Why do people feel the need to harass people who clearly have shipping prices listed in auctions? This type of nonsense is why ebay does stupid crap in the first place, such as DSR, Paypal Protection, No feedback by sellers, stupid SNAD claims etc etc. If you would just buy the damn card, pay the shipping the seller asks and leave it alone, everyone could be happy, but no, theres always someone who wants to be the troublemaker and send stupid emails. I wouldnt be surprised if the seller starts a thread on this or another site with the title "Another ebay idiot buyer". If it wasnt for the jacking up of fees by ebay, the jacking up of shipping costs by the USPS and the increased costs of everything else related to selling, people wouldnt have to add money to their shipping so they can make a freakin buck or two.

See the thread on ebay BINS now being debated. If it wasnt for ebay crap and nonsense like your post, THAT thread wouldnt even have been started

IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Not to jump on the band wagon but I would want a raw card that cost $125 mailed in the safest way possible. I think that was what the seller was trying to do from what you originally posted.
