Question about Thursday Night Games Following Sunday Afternoon Games

Question for those who know such things.
So, the Bears play the Dolphins this Thursday in Miami. Both teams had afternoon games on Sunday. Obviously, the Dolphins stay at home and plan accordingly. But how does it work for the Bears or any other traveling team?
I am thinking Monday would be tape review, etc. Tuesday would be practice, followed by early practice on Wednesday followed by an afternoon/evening flight out?
If so, seems like a "true" advantage for the home team in such a situation.
Note: not complaining, just trying to educate myself.
