Walter Payton Auto real or fake??? Seller Selling lots of fakes???

Can anyone tell me if this auto is real or not... PSA was "Unable to Render Opinion"
I need this card to help finish my Bears 1985 Topps auto'ed cards so I really want it if it's real (been looking for it for several years now)
ebay link
my gut says the card is fake... I have a few Payton sigs and this doesn't really match up.

I'd pass, but if you bought it I don't think you'd have any problem getting your money back if it didn't pass, but of couse you'd be out PSA fees.
"we GUARANTEE the signature(s) will pass PSA/DNA or JSA Authentication! "
So worst comes to worst, you are out the psa fees but get a refund on the actual card.
Edit*
I'm no expert but
I looked at multiple autos, it is slightly different- but the biggest thing I noticed is his "4" in 34 is moreso a fluid motion going from the top left then up then down, and doesn't seem to be 2 marks like the one in question
<< <i>Yeh, he does state in the auction

Only no where does he state what the guarantee is.
But as it doesn't look good, I would not want it if was slabbed either.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
<< <i>I don't think it's good either, the company has an OK rep and is probably a big PSA customer so that's probably why you got the "unable to render opinion". So it begs the question, why isn't it in a PSA holder???

Good question... just looking at the sellers other "stuff" he does not appear to use PSA or JSA even though he knows what they are... Seems like the seller is leaving money on the table - unless he knows these autos are fakes.
Seller also has a George Brett Rookie that I need for my signed rookie auto collection - that card also doesn't look right.

Dear sportsinvestments,
And what if they don't pass jsa or psa? I've submitted a few for online check and almost all of them come back likely not genuine.
<< <i>I am far from an expert but I actually like the Payton. However, I do see a lot of his auctions that are clearly bad. >>
For some reason the "P" in Payton does not look right to me...
Several of the HOF auto's that I have look nothing like his... I'm really shocked this guys has such great feedback.
We will not refund authentication fees BUT we will refund the entire auction cost including shipping. By the way, which ones are they calling "Not Likely Genuine"? Thanks, Adam
which ones were likely not genuine? lol

Nice policy by the seller (no risk on their end)... they probably sell the crap mixed in with the good and hope people don't sub the stuff to PSA or JSA.
The Montana card looks too good as Joe never signs his whole name. That card too failed when I QO'ed it.
I've done the Brett and Payton... the Brett was no and the Payton a can't tell.
1.Payton...?
2. Seaver...good
3. Brett....no good
4. Montana...no good
5. Musial...good
6. Riggins....?
7. Bo Jackson....good
8. Duke Snyder...good
9. Marino....no good
10. Bob Gibson....good
The ONE thing that is consistent with there "opinions" on what they called "Likely Not Genuine" are all the rookie era signatures(signed early in their careers & signatures not consistent with the norm). This is very typical.
Thanks, Adam

Love the reply - I guess we should trust them they know more than PSA... now I know why he does not sub to PSA!
1) Running redbirds
2) All of those Fleer cards with multiple autos
3) A Ripken card signed by all three...that looks like it was penned by the same cat
Some of his stuff has no chance at passing
<< <i>It actually looks like he has never had a neg. You would at least a few guys would have bought some stuff that was no good and failedpsa/DNA. Then they would have left negative feedback. Did you wind up buying his 85 Payton? >>
Nope, I'm not going to touch anything this guy sells.... the only reason I'd buy would be to bust him and give his first deserved negative for the fraud that he is!
That griffey looks extremely similar to one I have that has a loa from an auction house that works with jsa (says early career)
<< <i>This guy now has a sandberg/Dawson signed card that is horrific. That might be the worst Dawson ever! How could that card ever pass? >>
How sad... Dawson is very easy to get with a small donation to his foundation.
