Help me stick a value on this Elway card? (Newer)

I have someone inquiring and I really have nothing to base this off of (even a book price)

1999 Century Legends Century Collection John Elway

The only other one I can find is on ebay for $61.50, and I can't really find it in the book other than that it shows 10x to 25x hi col- but I can't find the other one in the first place.

  • 18/100, I dont see it being too expensive. eBay auction it for a legit price or post it up for best offer.

$61.50 is the BIN price on a Burbank Sportscards listing. That means the card is likely overpriced substantially.

Beckett's online price guide says Elway has 3 cards in the set. Numbers 16 and 53 each have a $50 "book value" and number 162 has a $40 "book value."
  • Search and see what Elway's in that era that around numbered around 100 have went for....that will be closer to it's auction price. Times by about 2 and you will get eBay store price.

I would imagine it is prices around what a Steve Young /100 from that era would be, and that seems to very so much lately. (Three big Young collectors dropped out in the last six months....and amazingly had bids on almost all their stuff, but prices were really across the board.)

If I got $20 out of that card selling it, I would be very happy, $10 is likely more realistic/fair.

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Agreed. Multiplier cards do not generally sell for anywhere close to the multiplier. Honestly, I would probably be happy with $5 for it

There's an Irvin for $6 and a McNabb for $4 on Sportlots.

I think $10 is probably a reasonable guess.
