What card do I get signed when there is a misprint?

Can a vintage hockey collector answer a question for me. I was going to attend an Al Arbour signing next month. I was looking to pick up a 1953 Parkhurst rc for the signing. I noticed that his rc card is a misprint with Bill Dineen's picture on the card and Arbours pic on Dineen's card. What would be the appropriate card to get signed if I wanted to add Al Arbours rc to my signed HOF rc collection?

Interesting question, I wouldn't think he would want to sign a card that has someone elses photo???
I just had that card pop last week...was expecting a better grade oh well.

Buy both, cut the correct picture out of card A, glue to card B and then get signed. image

You could have him sign the back.

I used to have Freddie Jones (football player) as a customer years ago and I brought about 6 cards in for him to sign one day. One of the Upper Deck cards apparently had someone else's picture on it. He already knew it and wouldn't sign that card. He laughed at it though.

There was an auto'd card in 2006 Heritage baseball that the guy wrote that it wasn't him and signed it anyway.

    Your mileage may vary

  • I'd go with Arbours pic on Dineen's card. The misprint's no problem, go with the picture.

I'd go with the first card that pictures him.
