I think there is only a slight difference. The red flip can only go in the PSA registry and the blue flip can only go in the PSA/DNA registry. The red flip says the auto and card are authentic and the blue flip just says the auto is authentic. I am not sure if there are any other differences. I have had some autographed cards that PSA did not recognize card but would authenticate the auto and put in a blue flip.

The red flip authenticates the card in addition to the autograph, while the blue flip authenticates only the autograph.

Neil .. what Scott says! A couple of months ago when PSA/DNA had a special (it was a Red Flip Special) I sent in a group of autographed cards to be authenticated. Included in that group were a few of Doran's custom cards. Doran's customs were not slabbed. It was then that I found out the difference between Red and Blue.
