    Zohar,

With all those shooting medals maybe you could open up a shooting range and stage a competition !!!

    More nice medals image

    Nice additions Zohar.

So what is the conversation taking place between the man and the woman on the "Basel, 1903 Cantonal Shooting Festival at Beider"?

Man: Honey, I have been victorious once again at the shooting competition!
Woman: I hope they rewarded you with more than a silly feather in your hat.
Man: My dear.......you know it is about the prestige and recognition and not the prize, right?
Woman: I sure hope so because you look ridiculous with that schnitzel stuck in your mustache.

I like this design, very cool!

Quick question - Are these participation medals, or prize medals? The mintages would suggest participation, or maybe revenue for the events. (sorry if this was addressed before, I may have missed it)

Participation. Named medals were given to winners - image

I know people here liked this gentlemen's last name...

  • Great Zohar-really love the 1892 and 1899. Every time you start posting these I think about getting into them
but you, my friend, seem to have the field cornered.image

    All the best...
No,no- the kids and the cat are all right honey.
