lol, what a deal!

I find it amazing that people can be so oblivious to the actual value of their stuff. I somewhat understand the dealers that make the ridiculously high BIN's with no real intent to sell unless some other idiot comes along (unless they gripe about not selling their stuff way above VCP), but it always makes me laugh and scratch my head when sellers like this just seem to grab some dollar figure out of mid air without even looking at past sells or doing any research as to the actual value. That being said, if anyone wants to give me a quarter what this guy is asking for several '83 sets in better condition than his, hit me up on pm's.

I had a PSA 9 pop one (still pop one and very tough card to get above PSA 7). I priced it high ($499.99/obo) and let it ride for three 30 day listings while getting feelers on the offers. When I sold it it was for $150 and I was happy with the sale.

Right now there is a 1978 Topps Mike Bossy RC PSA 10 on eBay. It is currently a pop two and he will not budge on his made up price of $1,399.99 plus $20 shipping. I think he is about $1100 off base with his price.
