    One of those rare announcers that could paint such a clear picture of the game it made you feel like you were sitting in the front row even if you were 300 miles away. RIP Dave, you were one of the greats.

    I remember working in the yard, having the radio on listening to him, and he was talking about listening to games himself in the summertime...all while telling every detail of the game. I hope they have some good rye bread and salami up there!!!
