How much do print lines effect the grade ?? Give me a guess on Grade ?

Slight bow in the card makes the pic a bit funny.

PSA 6 (st) for back stain. If it were centered and you asked for a min grade, you might get a PSA 7 (pd).

PSA generally does not qualify 52 Bowmans with the ST qualifier.

With that said, the print line on the front will take that card to a 5.

If better centered, it would probably get a PSA 6. As long as the penny pack cards don't have excessive wax, I've seen them in EX/MT holders and in NM holders with very mild staining. With similar print lines, the highest I've seen them is a PSA 6. That being said, with the centering and print line on yours, you're looking at a lock PSA 5.

IMO, without the print line and if the card was centered better, I would give it a 6 based upon the bottom left corner. However, with the print line and the l/r centering, I'd go down to a 4.5. I hope I am wrong.

Maybe I am too conservative however with my past experience with early bowmans you might be looking at a 3.5 to 4 at bestStill a very nice card.

    4.5 or 5
  • I've seen card's with similar print lines in 8 holders over the years.
I believe PSA has way tightened up their standards on the PL's in the last 15 years.

There's an Aaron RC in a PSA 8 or PSA 9 holder (I can't remember the grade) without a qualifier floating around out there with a bad print roller mark like your Musial card.

Nice Musial. Looks like a PSA 6 to me.
