PSA will not grade/authenticate this "Shoeless" card

I have a m101-4 Sporting News Joe Jackson card that I want to be authenticated and slabbed. I sent it in the PSA and it came back "N9" I called and they were very friendly. They said that they wouldn't authenicate a card that was this "cut up". The paper stock is good and I am positive the card is authentic. I could never trade/sell it, and not many people would believe that it is real unless I get it encapsulated. Does anybody know if BVG or SGC would do this?

Send it to SGC! They are better for that card anyways. I thought PSA graded heavily trimmed damaged "Big Cards" ???? Dont they??

Or maybe they dont know it is authentic?? ...and need some knowledge on the M101-4/5 sets...

It obviously is authentic BTW

What back does it have?

I know nothing about this issue, so I can't be of any help there -- but I am curious -- did PSA refund your money?

I would bet SGC would grade that with an A. And I am pretty sure Beckett would as well - look on Net 54, as I remember someone posting a '14 Cracker Jack Mathewson which was basically cut down to the image of Mathewson and nothing else, and it was in a BVG "A" holder.

i also believe sgc and bvg would slab it

I assume the back is not skinned. I had a Ruth that was rejected by both PSA and SGC because it was skinned.

Back is not skinned. It is a blank back m101-4. I guess I'll be sending it in to SGC.

In case you didnt know...

If its blank back....... there is no way to tell if its a M101-4 or M101-5

The only way to tell is M101-4 J.J. is #87 and M101-5 J.J. is #86, but the number is obviously cut off so its impossible now

Yeah, I got a refund. When you send 2 cards in at 1 order. The refund of fees doesn't really make up for the cost of shipping.
