    It looked like they both traded at a low price one minute, and then jumped substantially ($10.00 for gold, $1.00 for silver) on the very next trade. And they did it at the same time! You can't see it on the charts now, and I'm not sure why.

    Since that point, the charts have backfilled.

    Even though this is a weaker bond week (auctions on Tu-Th), the assault usually doesn't end until Wednesday. Thursday or Friday are typically the recovery days.

    I called one of the main dealers I do business with yesterday...and he was literally out of breath and talking louder than normal. I asked him if I called the wrong number and got the CME floor. He needed that good laugh at that point.
