1971 OPC Baseball PIRATES YELLOW TEAM NAME? Just answered part of this mystery!

image

I recently graded some 1971 OPC Baseball.

I submitted card #27 Pirates Rookies
and card #144 Jackie Hernandez

Both cards had the team name in yellow.
In the Topps set, they are red or reddish.
(PSA did NOT put "YELLOW TEAM" on inserts)

While I have a lot of experience with OPC Baseball,
this is one that I never knew existed......

Anyone else want to jump in here with their thoughts
including any other color variations? I know there
are some photo variations as well. I've just never
known about this one.

UPDATE !
I just looked in my large book

"Topps Baseball Cards-A 35 year History"

Card number 144 in the Topps set is:
Jackie Hernandez "ROYALS"

Card number 144 in the OPC set is
Jackie Hernandez "PIRATES"
with "recently traded to Pirates"

VERY COOL!

I have those OPC cards in both red and yellow. IIRC the red version is rarer than the yellow version.

Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972

I hated the Pirates in 1971 (come to think of it, I hated them in 1979 too)
