How does one deal with a vague seller?

RE: 1984 Olympics proof set
There was one photo of both silver coins and nothing else--none of the packaging are in photos.
So I sent the following message:
********************
I am interested in the silver Olympic coins, but I have some questions in regards to the condition.
1. Do the coins have any marks like fingerprints on them?
2. Are all parts of the original box and certificate included? (etui, certificate, lid, box ,sleeve)
3. Overall condition of the original government packaging.
Sorry for the questions, but I am a serious buyer and collector.
********************
The response was terse:
*******************
no fingerprints still in original box and coa, box in good shape. thnaks matt
*******************
As you guys all know, this set has a box with a lid, but also a sleeve in which the box slides into. The box contains the etui where the coins are stored. I wanted to make sure all pieces were included and listed them by name to make it easier for him to confirm. With the response he gave I fear it opens it up to games. If the sleeve is missing he will say that he stated the original box was in good shape. I asked specific questions as to the components available and with that response, will I have any recourse in case something is missing? He did not say the sleeve is missing, but he also did not say the sleeve is present. See what I am getting at?
I just want to hear it from more experience coin collectors about how this seller is handling things. I am perfectly comfortable walking away from this auction. Don't need the headache.
***I just realized I am in the darkside, not the US Coins Forum. Sorry about that, but most of my time is spent here and this topic is applicable either way, since it could just as well be a darkside coin for sale by a vague seller.

Terse indeed but it sounds like he answered the question.

It's just that I got my PCGS grades.

my sentiments lean that way too. The response does not build confidence unless I simply want the coins and don't care about the packaging.

If they have been in business since the early 70's, they might respond better to a quick phone call on Monday as they give the number. They state auction includes original government box and COA, what else is there? you want the mailing envelope and packagaing in perfect condition?
