i've heard it's a stupendous time to be a buyer of our hobby's most iconic post-war items, so i thought i'd start a thread.....all you gotta do is post a link or a photo to your Mantle Rookie with a brief summary of your amazing score and an ORIGINAL scan.

    My dead husband found this in his dead mom's attic back in 1998. I drove it to California to get it graded, and it's been under my pillow every night since.

    Although the card means a lot to me, my heating bills are going to be crazy high this winter so I have decided to sell it. Before I list it on eBay, I am going to offer to board members first. I can't find any VCP information on a PSA 10, so I'll let it go for $25,000. Paypal gift preferred.

    Got mine from my ex who I have been bitterly divorced from for the past 10 years, she died sometime in August.


    It just so happens she bought it the day before she died for 21k

    Think I'll put it up on ebay and take whatever it brings, who cares? She was a real beotch, took me for everything I had.

    Found it in a dumpster. (Anyone remember who had that story?)
    Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
    Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
