Has anyone crossed a SCD to PSA with any luck?

I have an SCD 10 Jeter that I picked up for a song, but would like to cross it over for my PSA Rookie Set. Has anyone had any luck crossing over SCD cards?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

SCD red labels will have better luck crossing than a SCD blue label. Red Label slabs were the first to come out & I've had limited, but decent success crossing.
    Enjoy your collection!

I had a low pop common do a straight cross from a SCD 8 to a PSA 8......it was a good looking card, and was the older silver flip....

I agree, but I must say I have never purchased a SCD blue label. I believe the blue labels were started after the grading company changed hands. I have crossed many SCD red labels and had success, but most have been graded with the UT designation (untouched from a pack). Most of what I have crossed has been vintage as well.

Best of luck if you crack and submit!

1965 Topps #74 Red Sox Rookies Rico Petrocelli / Jerry Stevenson

    So far:

SGC 96 >>> PSA 9ST >>> PSA 8 >>> ? (Sub going out at the end of the month, with hopes of pulling a PSA 9)

EDIT: I'm an idiot and can't tell the difference between SGC and SCD. Take it easy with flaming...

I crossed one vintage SCD 9 (red label) to a PSA 9. From the ones I've seen, Sports Collectors Digest graded cards were normally accurately graded, and you should cross over with a fair degree of success.

Avoid the blue label SCD cards. It was from an entirely different company, and their graders were only professional in the sense they got paid for it.

I cracked out a 1971 topps Curt Flood from an SCD 8.5 holder and it came back a PSA 9. This was a red flip, when Sports Collectors Digest owned the company.
