1960 Ernie Banks, factory miscut (MC)?? Opinions.
Would this be what is considered a factory miscut? The bottom edge underneath the "Chicago Cubs" lettering and also as you get toward the bottom right corner underneath the "Shortstop" lettering the border is actually wider than normal. When compared to other 1960 Topps cards, these portions of the Banks card stick out a tad higher.

Yes, it is a factory miscut. Not all that uncommon. Typically the result of the sheets (usually the upper or lower most in the stack) shifting during the cutting process. Some will argue that it is aftermarket because they are not symmetrical to the opposing side, but when there is excess "cardage," it is almost always a factory miscut. Aftermarket will result in less than normal width or length.
