Boxing Cards
Figured i'd start a new thread since this is really about the tyson card.
i hope dpeck is right about tyson rookies. These are the only boxing cards i have. I'm still looking for a 1997 Floyd Mayweather browns boxing card. None of them were very expensive. The ali card was the only one that was remotely expensive.. but even that was only around 80 bucks which i think is pretty good investment. The prob with Ali rookies.. is that there isn't a clear cut rookie card. Many of the cards before the panini are hand cut. There is a 65 lamp which is similar to panini. Does anyone know what is officially considered his rookie. If you are looking at things from strictly an investment point of view.. then i think early ali cards are great bet.
Evander Holyfield 1988 Panini Supersport Italian Boxing 168
Muhammad Ali 1966 Panini Campioni Dello Sport Boxing 377
Joe Frazier 1967 Panini Campioni Dello Sport Boxing 464
Mike Tyson 1985 Panini Supersport Italian Boxing 153
George Foreman 1973 Panini Boxing
Roy Jones Jr. 1991 Kayo Boxing 116
Sugar Ray Leonard 1981 Panini Sport Superstars Boxing 67
I'll eventually pick these up. They are pretty common on ebay.. its just a matter of wanting to pay.
Rocky Marciano 1951 Topps Ringside Boxing 32
Sugar Ray Robinson 1948 Leaf Boxing 64
Joe Louis 1935 J.A. Pattreiouex Sporting Events & Stars Boxing 56
Jack Dempsey 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter Boxing N/A
