Copper is trading at roughly $3.90 a pound. That's about 25 cents an ounce or 25 cents per 31.1 grams per ounce How much do copper pennies weigh? Is it 3 grams?
How much is a gram worth?

Any math Whizzes around?

    1 lb = 16 oz
    16 Oz x 28.35 G/ Oz= 453 g/ Lb
    3.90 / 453 = .86c / G
