Chicago Sun Times Show November 19-21

As many of you know, PSA will be attending the Chicago Sun Times Sports Collectibles Show to perform onsite card grading and autograph authentication November 19-21, 2010.

Onsite card grading is a great way to have your submissions processed immediately, avoiding the time and expense of shipping your cards across the country.

Normally, our onsite card grading fees range from $35 to $250, depending on the declared value of the cards. Traditionally, most submitters have chosen onsite grading for their more valuable cards due to the fees involved.

There are, however, a large number of hobbyists who have expressed interest in grading cards of lesser value at the shows. In response, we are going to run aggressive onsite card grading specials for those cards with a declared value below $500 (per card). The specials will be based on quantity and the available pricing will be as follows:

Number of Cards......................PSA Onsite Price Per Card
10...................................................$25
25...................................................$20
50...................................................$17.50
100.................................................$15.00
200.................................................$12.00

Since PSA is expecting a tremendous amount of interest in this special, anyone interested in taking advantage of this special should contact Annabelle Caberte toll-free at (800) 325-1121 ext 227 or via email at annabelle@collectors.com to reserve grading placement for the weekend. Placement will be based on a first come, first serve basis.

Thank you for your continued support of PSA. For those of you traveling to Chicago in a couple of weeks, we look forward to seeing you at the show.

Take care,

Joe Orlando
President

  • Can cards be dropped off with PSA at the show? For my November special submission, I thought I would drop them off at the booth.

I plan on dropping mine at the booth. I guess I just figured I would still get the November special. I am not looking for same day service. Just looking to drop them off and have the shipped back when they pop. I hope that is the way it works.

After those four National League games, Gorman Thomas was never the same, and neither were the Brewers, and come to think of it neither was I.

    Hi Carol,

Can we mix card types (standard, tallboy, oversize, thicker memorabilia cards, etc) on the onsite grading special, or would they need to be in separate orders?

    Thanks!

  • For onsite service? We will only be doing reg sized holders and tall boy holders at the show.

    sorry bout the caps..
  • You can bring the mech errors. If we can correct them there we will. The turnaround time depends on how busy we are at the show but it could take 24 hours.
The staff at the show will know more when you drop it off. You will need to fill out a submission form.
