I hate to ask, but could I get a SMR from a kind individual?

I understand that these requests can be tiring, but I think I got a great deal on this card, I was just wondering what SMR had to say about it...

1941 Play Ball #64 Bobby Doerr PSA 6 . Paid $175. Did I do alright?

Thanks for any help!

SMR says $200. I have no idea what VCP says...

Card looks real nice for the grade. I wouldn't be dissapointed at all if you needed it for your collection.

Yep, I think you did alright too. Just because the last one ended at 115.00 does not mean that you would have
gotten it for that, or even one increment above.

    Good for you.

I agree. If you are putting a set together and you have over 80% of the set complete, paying a little more than AVERAGE is no big deal. I assume that the cards in your set are on the expensive side. Before you buy any more, it might be a good idea to subscribe to VCP for ONE DAY for $4.00 and write down the sales info on the cards that you need. JMO.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    I agree.

and VCP can save you money, but if this is a BIN/OBO purchase, the seller may not have accepted the VCP average...since it looks nice and is an addition to your set I don't think you did bad.
