“Time Machine” — the unique date converter for world coin collectors.

Hi! My name is Andrei Tretyakov.
I wanna share with you the web application I've created specially for coin collectors. It is called "Time Machine" and available via the following link: http://apps.creounity.com/time_machine/en/.
This webapp is a date converter covering as yet 17 chronological systems. It is capable of converting year from any of the calendars provided in the app to the Gregorian calendar, and backwards (from the Gregorian calendar to a system you want).
With Time Machine it is very easy to find out the production year of your foreign coins.
Along with the converter itself, this app contains pieces of the explanatory texts that could help you understand how does the converter work, as well as learn some facts about chronologies' history and origins.
Time Machine is completely freeware for end users (though patent pending), and doesn't contain ads. For those who care much about security: my app doesn't contain viruses and doesn't request users for any kind of personal info. It just converts dates and provides supplementary text info with pics related.
Originally it's been developed by me for Russian and Russian-speaking collectors, but since recently it has both English and Russian interface languages, all the converter-related articles are available in these two languages as well.
In the nearest future I will add 4 new chronological systems into the Time Machine. Some minor bugs will be fixed. A set of large-size images will be added to each system. Two additional functionalities are under development and I believe they'll be released by the end of 2010.
Have a good time with my "Time Machine", and happy converting!

Hope your app gets the go ahead by Apple! We'll use it for sure, that's a given.

That's an awesome suggestion, thank you! I'll definitely get back to that idea when finish implementing all scheduled features.
By the way, what would be more desired - an app for Macintosh (i mean for Mac OS X) or an app for iPhone/iPad (i.e., for iOS)?

And, one more thing! (This information comes into the public for the first time ever as well).
As you might have noticed, the Time Machine app is a part of my site, http://creounity.com/. This word actually comes from the words "creative" and "unity". A year and a half ago I came to an idea of making a web-platform for creative people throughout the world. Not for vacuous chatting, not for pandering the consumer instincts, but for the people who are capable of introducing something new for this world, for these people and existing teams of such people. Not like Facebook, or Behance, or something else. During this year I was working hard on the details of the concept of the Creounity project. Now, when it's done, along with updating the Time Machine and adding new features into it (and Time Machine is just a tiny particle of the whole project), lately, I'm spending huge amount of time to make a team of developers around it, and also trying to find investors. The last thing is possibly the hardest one, since Russian so-called(!) venture investors in 99% of all cases give their money solely for the Russian clones of American web-services. They believe only in those projects which have been successful in US. When I try to show 'em the unique details of my project, some of them they say: "Start getting money on your own, and then we'll come, take a controlling interest and will develop your stuff instead of you." Would you agree on this, in my place? Neither do I! Truth to be told, from this point of view, I wish I could develop Creounity in the Silicon Valley, but — so far — I live in Samara, Russia.
And please, stop associating all Russian with hackers, thieves and mafiosi. I am just the developer and project creator!
