Need info on vintage game

In searching local auction listing I have come across an old card game called 'The World's Champion Baseball card game'.
It was made by Champion Amusement Co. in Cincinnati, OH. It is still in the original box(red) and has 52 cards and the
instructions. Unfortunately I do not have any photos to aid my description.
I have googled the company and game and have not found any information concerning the game.
Any help on year of manufacture, players pictured on the cards in the game, and possible value would be greatly appreciated.
