What do you think of my new Mexican type set purchase??

I just got this, my buddy picked her up from the Fort Smith show for me. I had just bought a Mexico Mint Pillar Dollar in AU-55 so this was the next coin I need as I am going backwards. What say you??

Should I put a Cob and Clippe example in the set?

as original as any salvage gets! nice cob! just make sure you buy from a reputable source who knows the subject matter, tons of counterfeits out there, despite the cap-plastic.
  • The coin is legit, it has paperwork from the wreck. The coin has been in the same collection for like 30 plus. It is from the 1715 fleet where 11 ships wen down and recovered in the 60's. Pretty darn cool in my book and a nice addition to my Mexican Type set, just bought a nice 8 real pillar, 1752 I think, but would need to pull it out. AU-50 by pcgs and liberated it from the holder, then the 8 reals from ............ to present.

I would love to get a jola reale, and will next time one comes up! I love Texas material especially Mexico/Texas material.
