What non-slip, non-pvc, non-fabric/felt material to use on coin trays?

Hey!
I photograph coins & long ago turned against felt or fabric lined trays as these are dust and lint magnets. I have used anti-fatigue padding for some time but now realize that this is a PVC material. I don't want to risk anyone elses' coins by leaving them exposed on this material (and coins can remain in line-up for days and even more than a week).
I'm considering using leather for my tray-liners now but I'd love advice from the experts.
What material would make the most sense?
It needs to be:
- Soft
- Neutral Gray
- Non-slip
- Cleanable
I can have up to 500 coins lined up to shoot.
Let me Know what you think.
Thanks!
Clark
