I was looking at coinflation.com for the price on Peace dollars. Correct me if I am wrong.
The silver content according to Coinflation for the Peace dollar is $18.45
However, 90% of $23.86 (last night's closing price) =$21.47
Help me with my math, please.

A Morgan / Peace Dollar has .77344 oz of silver ....
so .....
$23.86 x .77344 = $ 18.45
90% is the composition of the coins metals .... 90% silver - 10% copper.
Buttttt...
The total weight of the coin is NOT 1oz., 31.15 grams, but 26.73 grams.
so.......
$23.86 / 31.15 x 26.73 x .9 will also get you close to $ 18.45

Coinflation prices are based on a troy ounce 31.1 grams
Peace dollar has 26.73 grams and ten 10% of that is copper.
31.1 - 26.73 = 4.37 grams short of a full troy ounce.
26.73 - 2.67 =24.06 grams of silver
24.06 divided by 31.1 = 77%
77% X 23.86 = $18.37 then add a few cents for the copper.
Edit to add that a few of you type faster than I do and beat me to it.
